Street photography project (Better Days) on YouTube

Greetings friends! After getting some good feedback from my previous attempt at video making, I tought I’d give it yet another try. I have actually been thinking about turning some of my projects suitable for other publishing channels as well. At the moment my photo projects live only on this website and occasionally on Instagram, which is why I find it compelling to spread them out elsewhere too.

I have a photo book in the making, but time will tell whether it will see the light of day. I love the idea of putting my projects Better Days and Cinema Noir to a book form, but in the mean time I made a video version of Better Days. Who knows, maybe I’ll make a video presentation of all the other projects as well. Making these is actually a great fun…. excluding voice overs — I really suck at those. 😇

This is a pretty brief overview about the project. I did the voice over on one take and naturally forgot to talk about many aspects of it. Maybe it is a good thing because otherwise the video would be one hour long. On this video I focused much on social media and smart phone usage being the drivers behind the images, but to adding to that, I’d like to mention that there is perhaps a bit more too. The world really is nuts right now and the days being better, refers to the times when there were, for example, no war in Europe, no pandemics, the planet not yet turning unhabitable, AI still at the stage of science fiction etc. etc.
