Grainbow 400 — Fuji film simulation recipe

After getting some really nice results with my Vibe Blaster 800 recipe, I wanted to create another color film simulation, but as opposed to Vibe Blaster’s muted tones and grainy look, this simulation is intended to be more vibrant with smoother grain, while still maintaining natural and film-like look.

Grainbow 400 is a work in progress by the time I’m writing this. I’m still gathering sample photos and tweaking things here and there, but so far the following seems to deliver rather nice results, resembling that of Kodak Gold or perhaps Kodak Pro Image films.

If you like this recipe, you might also enjoy the infamous Vibe Blaster 800 recipe.
